I am very happy with how Desire turned out. I knew the sound was magical from the very first notes we played that night. Since 1978, Bob asked me to help straighten his band out once during the Slow Train tour, but that never happened. He also has visited my home. During the time of our collaboration, we were very close. He remains one of the greatest creative forces in music to this day.”
