“I was at the Washington DC March in August of 1963. I was only 15 years old & only had a vague idea of who Bob "Die"lin was. My grandfather took me to the march; I only knew Dylan's name at that time from reading his liner notes on Pete, Paul & Mary's album, thus my mispronounciation of his name.
That day he and Joan Baez were distant figures at the microphone, but the sound of their music left an indelible impression which caused me to listen to this day to their songs of struggle for groups and individuals.”
