“My sister had his hit singles Subterranean H.B. and Like A Rolling Stone. I liked them but thought Donovan was better. Untill July 1966, when I bought Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window at a shop sale. It knocked me out! The next day I returned and found Positively 4th Street. A few weeks later bought his newest single I Want You backed with one of his best live performances ever: Just Like Tom Thumbs Blues from Liverpool 1966. I loved the way he sang and the way he looked. The next year I followed his career from Freewheelin' up to Blonde on Blonde. His music is the heart of my music collection ever since.”
